Vitaly Vovk: people must be confident that their problems will be solved
"Such receptions allow us to understand the real picture, assess the work of officials on the ground, and ultimately ensure that our citizens are confident that if there is an issue, it will be resolved," the Presidential Aide noted.
Vitaly Vovk added that the issues that citizens sent for the "Big Conversation" are being resolved, and their implementation on the ground is being monitored. "There is feedback. All information is clearly maintained at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee," he said.
Residents of one of the houses on Lenin Street in the regional center complained about a night cafe on the first floor. On weekends, groups gather there, arriving in cars with loud music and having a good time. Since the beginning of the year alone, 18 calls have been recorded from residents of the house; sometimes traffic police officers have detained drivers in a state of intoxication, and there have also been acts of hooliganism. The applicants understand that it is impossible to close the cafe, but they ask at least to limit its night operating hours. "We no longer look forward to the weekends because we can't rest and sleep properly," said one of the residents.
Vitaly Vovk instructed specialists to check the noise level in the residents' homes and the police to organize more effective patrolling near the cafe. At the reception, people also addressed issues related to housing, healthcare, land, and employment. Instructions were given on most issues, and for some, additional information will be requested for a detailed analysis of the situation.
