For example, at Belinvestbank, most purchase and sale transactions are carried out with dollars. Transactions with other currencies account for a small number of deals. The situation is similar in other banks in the city.

Along with this, in almost all banking institutions, there is a trend of currency purchases prevailing over sales. According to an official of Belarusbank, on September 14-15, the population's activity in selling currency several times exceeded the purchasing demand. At Belinvestbank, out of the volume of dollars sold by the population, individuals bought only about 14%. "There is a more or less noticeable demand for the dollar," stated Priorbank. -0-
