Vitebsk residents will be able to observe the first rehearsal of the Victory Day parade today

Sleepless Vitebsk residents will be able to watch the first rehearsal of the parade for May 9 today, the 103rd Separate Guards Mobile Brigade informed a BELTA correspondent. On Victory Day, the troops of the Vitebsk garrison will march in a festive procession for the first time to the sounds of a military orchestra in front of Great Patriotic War veterans and city residents. To demonstrate their drill skills, paratroopers, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, soldiers of the railway battalion, border unit, and internal troops (about 300 people in total) will hold rehearsals on Victory Square late in the evening at 10:00 PM. Drill training sessions will be held for two days, two hours each. During this time, traffic on the city's central highway will be blocked. Victory Day in Vitebsk will be celebrated solemnly and festively as always. The main event will be the procession of veterans and the public, and laying flowers at the memorials of the fallen. Festive concerts by creative groups will be held in squares and residential areas. -0-
