Vitebsk resident illegally earned money by selling car "biographies"

Tax authorities of the Vitebsk region have suppressed the illegal activities of a resident of the regional center who specialized in providing information support for car deals. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region. For a fee, the Vitebsk resident provided future car owners with information about the operating history and technical condition of cars from the USA that interested them. To expand his client base, the man placed relevant advertisements on Internet resources, as well as in the periodic press, while he acted without state registration. To use the services of the enterprising individual, citizens transferred non-cash funds to the mobile phone number indicated by the offender. By the decision of the economic court of the Vitebsk region, the man was found guilty of committing an administrative offense provided for by Part 1-1 of Article 12.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and fined Br350,000. In addition, the income identified from illegal entrepreneurial activity in the amount of Br1.2 million was confiscated from the offender. In total, in January-March, the region's tax authorities identified over 320 cases of unregistered entrepreneurial activity, prohibited activities, and activities without licenses. -0-
