"Vitebchanka" will study the secrets of the fashion industry from foreign designers and representatives of fashion brands
Representatives of "Vitebchanka" will meet with Russian and foreign designers, fashion brand owners, and major retail chains on June 1-2 as part of the International Business Platform for Outsourcing in the Light Industry, which will be held in Moscow for the first time.
In addition to KUPP "Vitebchanka," only two other Belarusian enterprises – OJSC "Kupalinka" and OJSC PTO "Polesie" – plan to present themselves in the Russian capital.
As noted by Gulnara Babich, president of the organizing company, the Russian Association of Fashion Industry Participants, representatives of factories producing men's, women's, and children's clothing from 20 countries have been invited to participate in the business platform: Armenia, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Italy, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Korea, Moldova, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, and others.
Specialists from these enterprises will have the opportunity to fully explore the issue of promoting their services in the Russian market, study demand, and also choose the most attractive and profitable conditions for business development. More than 130 brands have expressed a desire to communicate directly with manufacturers.
It should be noted that the business platform not only offers a chance to propose outsourcing of production capacities but also to obtain unique analytical data on the demand for services, as well as to systematize information on price segments and product groups. The collected data will allow for production development in the right directions, focusing on specific demand and emphasizing the purchase of necessary equipment.
Over two days and 16 hours of intensive and fruitful work at the business platform, more than 500 business meetings will take place, including a business negotiation session, a conference, and practical sessions for commercial directors. Participants will discuss production and enterprise development issues, risk management, state banking programs, logistics, customs processes, certification, and more.
According to Olga Belyaeva, Head of the Supply and Sales Department of KUPP "Vitebchanka", at the business platform
their company has high hopes. Two days are almost entirely scheduled for meetings with potential partners. It is pleasing that major Russian retail chains and well-known clothing manufacturers have shown interest in the factory. It is no secret that today it is not easy to establish active cooperation with retail chains that have strict requirements regarding product quality, assortment policy, and mutual settlements. And the fact that they include "Vitebchanka" in their negotiation plans indicates that the Pridvinye enterprise has every chance to reach a new level of development.
While some representatives of "Vitebchanka" will be looking for new contacts in Russia, others will go to Latvia, where the IV International East Baltic Business Forum will be held on June 2 in Daugavpils. Scandinavian countries, Poland, as well as neighboring states of Latvia are expected to participate in the event. Invitations have been sent to the twin cities of Daugavpils. According to preliminary information, not only Latvian but also German potential partners have already shown interest in the Vitebsk factory.
