Vitebsk region will join the republican campaign 'Unified Safety Day'
On February 20, at 12:00 PM, the republican campaign "Unified Safety Day" will be launched on Victory Square in the regional center. The campaign will run from February 20 to March 1 throughout the republic.
Safety zones will be set up in the city center by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Automobile Inspectorate, the Vitebsk Department of Internal Affairs, the 103rd Guards Separate Mobile Brigade, the Red Cross, Vitebskoblgaz, OSVOD, BDPO, BRSM, and Belgosstrakh. Additionally, everyone will have the opportunity to see specialized equipment from prevention entities, and creative groups from the city will entertain guests and residents on the main stage of the square.
A friendly hockey match between junior teams and security forces will be a highlight of the "Unified Safety Day" event. The continuity of generations, the transfer of experience, and the call for a healthy lifestyle are a guarantee that parents will receive help from their children in difficult times.
The main goal is to draw attention to the problem of reducing deaths from external causes.
Furthermore, for 11 days, special attention will be paid to the work of inspection commissions, which include representatives of local authorities, internal affairs units, emergency services, medical professionals, educators, social workers, and employees of public organizations.
The efforts of all stakeholders are aimed at ensuring safe living conditions for the population and conducting educational and upbringing work with the younger generation.
The results of the campaign will help conduct a detailed analysis of the causes and conditions contributing to deaths from external causes, and refine decisions on implementing measures aimed at their prevention.
