Vitebsk region took over the baton of the Belarusian Trade Unions Federation's campaign 'We are together!'

The celebration was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Trade Union Association Ivan Vozmitel, the Chairman of the Vitebsk City Trade Union Association Alexander Semenov, chairmen of industry trade unions, trade union activists, and representatives of the city's work collectives.

– Vitebsk's greatest pride is its labor dynasties. They are the pride, the golden fund of any production, any industry, because a profession becomes a good family tradition, where children follow their parents, and generations succeed each other at their workstations, - noted Alexander Semenov in his welcoming speech. - Thank you for your love for your native city, your careful attitude towards history, and your participation in its destiny. We especially want to recognize those who pass on their rich experience and knowledge, professional secrets and skills from generation to generation, from parents to children – these are labor dynasties and mentors.

For example, the Logunov dynasty, whose representatives have been working at JSC "Vitebskie Kovry" since 1949, and their total length of service at the enterprise (which includes 12 family members) is over 290 years. It can be said that the representatives of the Logunov dynasty participate in all processes of production, quality control, and product sales. The worthy labor of the dynasty has been recognized with various awards, and members of the dynasty have repeatedly been included in the company's Honor Roll.

During the event, three labor dynasties that have worked at the city's enterprises for over 100 years received gifts from the trade union: the Logunov dynasty, the Gorelov dynasty from JSC "Vitebsky Meat Packing Plant", and the Orlovsky dynasty, employees of UP "Vitebskvodokanal".
