An agreement on cooperation between Vitebsk and Arkhangelsk is planned to be concluded at the XI International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects", which will be held in Vitebsk on May 18-19.
As reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, a total of 6 documents of various formats on the development of interregional partnership, as well as on cooperation between enterprises, educational institutions of the Vitebsk region and the regions of Russia and China, are being prepared for signing within the framework of the main economic event of the Vitebsk region. In particular, the administration of the municipal formation "Severo-Baikalsky District" of the Republic of Buryatia is ready to become a new partner of the Gluboksky District Executive Committee, with the official registration of contractual relations planned to be carried out online.
Representatives of 9 countries confirmed their participation in the forum, including Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Iran, India, the UAE, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Turkey. More than 100 enterprises and 10 educational institutions of the Vitebsk region will present their potential at the exhibition, which will unfold near the Summer Amphitheater. The total number of registered online and offline participants has exceeded 1 thousand people.
