Vitebsk and the Byeloyarsky District of Russia have signed an agreement on cooperation between local self-government bodies

Vitebsk and Beloyarsky District of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra signed an agreement on cooperation of local self-government bodies. This was reported by the Chairman of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies, Vladimir Beleevich.

The document was signed by the chairmen of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies and the Duma of Beloyarsky District during the celebration of Beloyarsky District Day, to which a delegation from the Belarusian regional center was also invited. "The agreement supplements the sister city agreement, which was concluded between our administrative units last year. It is aimed at deepening interaction, exchanging experience of local self-government bodies, and also opens up deeper opportunities for implementing joint projects in the economic sphere," said Vladimir Beleevich.

In particular, representatives of the business circles of the Russian region showed serious interest in the work of Vitebsk construction organizations, and the possibilities of opening retail outlets of well-known Vitebsk shoe manufacturers "Belvest" and "Marko" in Beloyarsky District were also discussed.
