Vitebsk recognized as the best regional center for business

These are the results of the current competition "Best City (District) and Region for Business in Belarus-2014", which is held on the initiative of the Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship in conjunction with regional business associations with the support of the Ministry of Economy.

The expert jury annually analyzes the situation regarding the development of entrepreneurship, taking into account the number of enterprises created, the contribution of entrepreneurs and private economic entities to the economy of the city, region, the number and quality of events held by business communities and authorities. In total, 5 regions, 3 regional centers, 73 cities (districts), and 4 districts of Minsk took part in the competition.

Representatives of the Vitebsk region were also among the laureates. In the nomination "Best City (District) for Business in Belarus-2014" (with a population of less than 50 thousand people), Chashniksky district was recognized. In the nomination "Best City (District) for Business in Belarus-2014" (with a population of more than 50 thousand people), Novopolotsk became a laureate.
