Vitebsk welcomes winter with the "New Year Fantasies" festival. The event program, which will last until December 8, includes the regional review of Father Frosts and Snow Maidens "Yolka-FEST-2013" and show-performances, a correspondent of BELTA was informed at the regional marketing center.

"The culmination of the festival, held at the Vitebsk Concert Hall, will be the final of the city beauty contest "Miss Vitebsk-2013". On December 7, 16 finalists will compete for the right to be called the most beautiful. A competitive spirit will also reign at the regional review - the contest of Father Frosts and Snow Maidens "Yolka-FEST-2013". The best New Year fairy-tale characters of the region will be determined on December 6," the marketing center reported.

The business part of the festival program includes the business seminar "New Generation in Business" and the forum "Business Creation and Development. Franchising Technology."

In addition, the "New Year Fantasies" festival features an exhibition of children's drawings by students of Vitebsk Art School No. 1, as well as souvenir products by students of Novopolotsk and Vitebsk socio-pedagogical centers.

The festival program is accompanied by a universal exhibition-fair of goods from Belarusian manufacturers. It includes clothing, footwear, knitwear, haberdashery, cosmetics, perfumery, costume jewelry, souvenirs, carnival costumes, evening and wedding dresses. At the exhibition-fair, you can also familiarize yourself with the list of services offered by tourist and wedding companies, and event organizers.

The grand opening of the "New Year Fantasies" festival will take place at the Vitebsk Concert Hall on December 3.

The festival is organized by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, the State Enterprise "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center", and the Vitebsk State Technological University.
