Vitebsk Biopharma should create its own TPS for product promotion on markets - KGC
February 15, Minsk /BELTA/. The private unitary enterprise "Vitebsk Biopharma" should create its own distribution network to promote its products. This was stated by the Chairman of the Committee of State Control of Belarus, Alexander Yakobson, during his visit to the enterprise, BELTA was informed by the press service of the CSC.
Currently, the biopharma is the largest producer of therapeutic and diagnostic drugs (veterinary drugs) for animal husbandry in the country. The company is currently mastering production capacities that have been put into operation and is establishing the production of new drugs.
While studying the enterprise's operations, the CSC Chairman drew attention to the problems faced by the factory. In particular, he noted that despite the uniqueness of its production, it will be difficult for the enterprise to conquer sales markets in the future due to the fact that the development of new veterinary drugs is not sufficiently supported by innovative technologies. In response to the management's remark about difficulties in selling products through the sales network of OJSC "Belzoovetsnabprom", Alexander Yakobson suggested that the biopharma consider creating its own distribution network. "There should be no unsolvable problems at the factory," emphasized the head of the CSC.
Issues of updating human resources, taking into account the specifics of production, as well as opportunities to reduce the level of accounts receivable were discussed with the management of Vitebsk Biopharma. Based on the results of the visit to the enterprise, Alexander Yakobson instructed the management of the biopharma and the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control to prepare proposals for solving current problems.
In addition, the head of the control department held a working meeting at the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control, where, together with the leadership of the regional executive committee, control, law enforcement and judicial bodies of the region, tasks for further improvement of control activities were discussed.
As Alexander Yakobson emphasized, the main priority in the activities of the Committee of State Control is its preventive focus: punishment should not be an end in itself. In this regard, the Chairman of the CSC assigned an important place to the personnel policy pursued in the State Control bodies, noting that when forming the staff, it is imperative to consider the presence of such qualities as professionalism, principledness and objectivity in the employees of the control bodies.
At the meeting, the opinions of enterprise managers, representatives of executive authorities, law enforcement and judicial bodies on interaction with the regional Committee of State Control, including the development of joint proposals for the implementation of Directive No. 4, were heard.
