Vitebsk broiler poultry farm will receive a budget loan in the amount of Br1.5 billion.

March 24, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Open Joint Stock Company "Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm" will receive a budget loan in the amount of Br1.5 billion. The decision on this is contained in Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 341 of March 21, 2009, the BELTA correspondent was informed at the Council of Ministers' Office. The budget loan is provided for the implementation of the investment project "Program for the Advanced Development of OJSC Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm for 2006-2010". Its repayment will occur within three years, starting from January 1, 2010. The condition for granting the loan is the achievement by Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm in 2009-2014 of the main target indicators of socio-economic development in terms of growth rates of agricultural production and profitability of sold products. Personal responsibility for ensuring the target and effective use of the loan funds by the poultry farm, their timely repayment, as well as for the fulfillment of socio-economic development indicators is assigned to the director of OJSC Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm and the Minister of Agriculture and Food. The advanced development program of the broiler poultry farm provides for an increase in broiler meat production to 28 thousand tons in 2010. The growth rate of poultry meat production will be 156% compared to 2006. By the end of the current year, the enterprise intends to produce 23 thousand tons of poultry meat. Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm is among the top three largest poultry meat producers in the republic. In 2008, the enterprise produced 21.3 thousand tons of meat, with a growth of 7% compared to 2007. Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm was opened in 1981, and in 2004 it was transformed into an open joint-stock company. The state owns 99.59% of the shares.
