Vitebsk delegation visited the First China Trade and Economic Exhibition

A delegation from the Vitebsk region, including Valentin Tsvetkov, First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, Zhanna Sharando, Deputy Chairman of the Economics Committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Tikhonov, Deputy Head of the Investment Policy and Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Economics Committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Sergey Yurkevich, Deputy Head of the Administration of FEZ "Vitebsk", Dmitry Sergeenko, General Director of the Vitebsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Andrey Sidorov, Director of Private Unitary Enterprise "Vitstroytehmash", and Alexander Mashchenko, Director of UP "Vitebchanka", visited the First Chinese (Heilongjiang) Trade and Economic Exhibition, which took place in Minsk from October 9 to 11 and was organized with the assistance and participation of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The exhibition featured projects and exhibits from over 80 Chinese companies operating in the fields of energy, mechanical engineering, construction, agriculture, light industry, and pharmaceuticals.

— The purpose of our trip, — noted Valentin Nikolaevich, — is to familiarize ourselves with Chinese goods and technologies, find new business partners, and most importantly, attract investment.

The opening of the forum was attended by Anatoly Tozik, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus and Chairman of the Belarusian-Chinese Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, and Sun Dongsheng, Deputy Chairman of the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province.
