The Vitebsk Philharmonic has prepared a new program for children "FaSolka Invites"

September 16, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. A new fairy-tale character FaSoľka will guide young Vitebsk residents through the world of classical music in the 21st concert season of the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic, which will open on October 1. The artistic director of the philharmonic, Nelly Matsaberidze, told a BELTA correspondent about this. In the upcoming season, the philharmonic has prepared new programs for children and teenagers, united by the subscription "FaSoľka Invites". Together with the fairy-tale character, the little Vitebsk residents will go for a "Walk on a Sunny Morning" - this is the name of the musical and theatrical performance, and will get acquainted with the "king of instruments" in the program "Organ for Children" (soloist Irina Mashtakova). A premiere of the theatrical and musical performance "Traffic Light" is also being prepared: an educational program in a playful form will tell children about safety rules. The philharmonic's chamber orchestra will present another premiere for children - it will be a kind of introduction to the orchestra's instruments in the genre of a musical fairy tale. In addition, the playbill retains performances beloved by young listeners - the funny one-act opera "The Royal Sandwich" based on the ballads of Alan Milan, "Multipultiya", the opera "Quartet" and others. For students of general education schools, concert programs within the educational project "Meetings with Music", implemented jointly with the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, will continue. The main goal of thematic programs for the younger generation is to cultivate a listener based on the best traditions of world classical art, noted Nelly Matsaberidze. The philharmonic's interaction with the adult audience will continue with four subscription series - "Music in a Dance Rhythm", vocal, chamber, and organ music. Organ music lovers will have the opportunity to get acquainted with national performing schools, and organists from Russia, Germany, Lithuania, and other countries have been invited to Vitebsk. The performance of the Danish performer Hans Christian Hein, as well as a concert by the Moscow pianist, laureate of international competitions Dmitry Lyudkov, will take place during the season opening. By tradition, the philharmonic season will be opened by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Belarus, whose artistic director and chief conductor is Alexander Anisimov. "The philharmonic is, first of all, music, so the first concerts of the season will be purely instrumental," said Nelly Matsaberidze. Another significant event of the season will be the traditional, 21st in a row, Ivan Sollertinsky International Music Festival, which is included in the regional program of events for the Year of the Native Land. -0-
