The Vitebsk Philharmonic will continue the project for expectant mothers "Weave a soul from notes"
The Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic Society intends to continue implementing the popular project "Weaving a Soul from Notes" for Vitebsk women in new concert seasons, a BELTA correspondent was informed by the cultural institution.
The project is a series of concert and educational programs during which expectant mothers are introduced to high examples of musical classics, their live musical performance carrying positive energy, and also receive consultations from gynecologists, psychologists, defectologists, lawyers, and other specialists on pressing issues of prenatal and early childhood education. In many European countries and Russia, such concerts are very popular, while in Belarus in 2010-2011, this was the first attempt by musicians to engage in such projects.
The repertoire of concerts is selected based on scientific research on the beneficial effects of certain compositions on the well-being of pregnant women and their future children, and the topics of the meetings include issues relevant during this period: how to live correctly in an "interesting situation," what to eat and drink, what music to listen to, what TV shows to watch, how to further develop the child's talents, help them become successful, etc.
"The Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic Society has been implementing the project 'Weaving a Soul from Notes' for the third concert season in a row. Its beneficial effect on the well-being and mental state of pregnant women is noted by both doctors and the listeners themselves, many of whom have already become happy mothers. The high demand for the project also testifies to its positive effect, so it will definitely be continued in new concert seasons," the philharmonic society noted, adding that the cycle is developed in accordance with the state policy of spiritual health of the nation and is carried out with the partnership support of Vitebsk healthcare institutions.
