Vitebsk and Orsha dairy products will be supplied to Russian Orenburg

The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers (VOSN) is ready to provide organizational and consulting assistance to enterprises and organizations of the Pridvinye region in promoting their own goods and services to the market of the "heart of Eurasia" – this is how the Russian Orenburg region positions itself.

These opportunities have become available thanks to the establishment of partnerships between VOSN and the Orenburg Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. A corresponding cooperation agreement was signed during the V Eurasian Economic Forum "Orenburg-2015", held in mid-November.

As reported to "Vitebskie Vesti" by Chairman of VOSN Vladimir Turavinov, the employers' associations of the regions have undertaken to promote the establishment of mutually beneficial ties between enterprises, trade and economic relations, and to increase the efficiency of organizing business meetings and exhibition events.

– Thus, the first steps have been taken towards establishing useful and, I hope, long-term relations between the business communities of the two regions, which in the future may grow into investment cooperation, interaction in the scientific, technical, and innovation spheres, – emphasized Vladimir Turavinov.

The participation of the region's delegation, led by Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Belous, in the Eurasian Economic Forum has laid a good foundation for this.

For example, representatives of OJSC "Znamya Industrializatsii" held negotiations with more than 30 potential partners, including those from Kazakhstan, on the supply of products from the well-known Vitebsk enterprise and on concluding contracts for the tailoring of corporate clothing and school uniforms. UP "Polimerkonstruktsiya" discussed with the leadership of the Russian region issues of providing the local population with high-quality drinking water, which resulted in outlining avenues for cooperation. The work of specialists from OJSC "Moloko" and "Orshansky Dairy Plant" at the forum resulted in concluded contracts for the supply of Belarusian products to partners in the Orenburg region.

The delegation from the Vitebsk region actively participated in all business agenda events, including the international exhibition of innovative projects "Efficiency and Quality" at the consolidated stand of Belarus, a business contact exchange, and "round tables" on various areas of interregional cooperation. Within the framework of the forum, a meeting of the joint working group on cooperation between the Orenburg region and the Republic of Belarus was held. The co-chairman from the Belarusian side is the head of the concern "Bellegprom" Nikolai Efimchik. Following the meeting, it was decided, in particular, to work out additional measures for the development of cooperation in the light and woodworking industries, to consider the possibilities of opening a warehouse-store for the sale of Belarusian light industry goods, as well as a retail outlet of SOOO "Belvest".
