The Vitebsk Catholic Diocese announced a poetry competition for young talents

April 10, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The Vitebsk Catholic Diocese has announced a regional poetry competition for young talents, the diocese informed a BELTA correspondent. The creative competition is timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Vitebsk Diocese. Creative youth of any denomination from all regions of the Vitebsk region, aged 15-25, are invited to participate. Participants are encouraged to write a poem. At the same time, the competition organizers do not intend to limit them to specific themes: the poem can relate to love or philosophical lyrics, as well as be of a religious nature. The main thing is that the participants manage to reveal the issue they have raised as fully and vividly as possible. However, works dedicated to Belarus will be primarily welcomed, the diocese noted. All works are accepted until June 20. The names of the winners of the creative competition will be announced in August at the festive events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Vitebsk Diocese, which will be held in the Braslav district. -0-
