Vitebsk police prepared for questions from guests of the "Slavianski Bazaar".

Vitebsk police prepared for questions from guests of "Slavianski Bazaar". This was announced today by the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Ivan Kubrakov, at a briefing dedicated to the work of law enforcement agencies during the forum.

According to Ivan Kubrakov, last year more than 90% of inquiries from guests and participants of "Slavianski Bazaar" to police officers working in foot patrols in the area of the main forum venues were of a reference and informational nature.

"There were many questions about the location of the nearest currency exchange offices, catering facilities, attractions, and other similar inquiries. We have drawn conclusions, and this year, trained officers from among local residents who know the area and the location of all necessary facilities well will be on duty in the festival zone," said the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate.

He added that female officers will also be included in the patrols, so potential questions about shopping will not remain unanswered. Regarding other features of service during the festival period, Ivan Kubrakov noted that this year the emphasis in ensuring road traffic safety in the city center is on increasing the number of motorcycle patrols, which can maneuver more easily in large crowds. There will also be more car patrols at the entrances to the regional center.
