Vitebsk region and Ayutthaya province (Thailand) have signed a document establishing friendly relations. It was signed during an official visit of the Belarusian parliamentary delegation to Thailand, the press service of the House of Representatives reported.
Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko and member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic for International Affairs and National Security, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev visited Ayutthaya province. A meeting was held with the governor of this province. Issues of establishing interregional cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, science and technology, culture, education, and tourism were discussed. "The meeting resulted in the signing of a document establishing friendly relations between the Vitebsk region and Ayutthaya province," the press service informed.
