Vitebsk region holds leading positions in some indicators of socio-economic development for the first half of 2013

As reported at the session of the regional executive committee by Governor Alexander Kosinets, according to the results of the first half of 2013, the Vitebsk region holds leading positions in a number of parameters for socio-economic development, according to Belstat. In the Dvina region, compared to other regions, there are the smallest warehouse stocks. They amount to just over 34% of the total volume of manufactured products. The region ranks first in the share of shipped innovative products – 29.4%, and the region is a leader in attracting investment. Vitebsk region is in the top three for the share of industrial production.
