The Vitebsk Regional Election Commission unanimously decided to establish the results of the Presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus

In addition to the members of the regional election commission, observers accredited by public organizations to the election commissions were present at the meeting.

– We will submit the collected data in a complete package of documents to the Central Election Commission, and the final results of the Presidential elections will be established within the framework of the CEC meeting, – noted the chairman of the regional election commission Dmitry Khoma. – In the Vitebsk region, 735 thousand 125 voters participated in the voting. The turnout was 86.39%. More than 25 thousand votes were cast against all candidates. The largest number of voters in the region cast their votes for the current head of state.

The number of votes cast for the Presidential candidates in the Vitebsk region was distributed as follows:

for Alexander Lukashenko – 644052 (87.61%);

for Sergey Syrankov – 27336 (3.72%);

for Alexander Khizhnyak – 12645 (1.72%);

for Oleg Gaidukevich – 10953 (1.49%);

for Anna Kanopatskaya – 10808 (1.47%).
