The Vitebsk regional organization of the BRSM includes more than 64 thousand members

This was announced today at the 32nd reporting and election conference of the regional organization by its first secretary Dmitry Khoma, BELTA correspondent reports. In total, about 2.3 thousand primary organizations operate in the region. Every year, their ranks are replenished by more than 8,000 young men and women, noted the head of the regional youth organization. Reviewing the activities of primary organizations, Dmitry Khoma noted that over the past three years, patriotic campaigns, events that reveal the creative potential of youth, and employment organization have been widely developed. An important place in the work is given to new forms of work, such as the youth marathon "Make Your Choice!", uniting youth subcultures under the auspices of the BRSM, and the search for new ideas. Every year, republican-level projects are implemented in the region. The most significant among them are Youth Day at the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk international arts festival, and the Be-La-Rus international youth camp. The organization of round-the-clock tent camps during the summer, patriotic campaigns "We are Citizens of Belarus," "Thank You for Life," "For Beloved Belarus!", and events within the framework of the "Kind Heart" volunteer movement have become traditional. The activities of the regional organization are carried out in close cooperation with government authorities, veteran, pioneer, trade union organizations, and public associations. Joint projects aimed at various categories of youth are implemented. Along with this, the work with the primary level, stimulating the work of the organization's active members, and searching for ways to achieve self-financing require more attention, Dmitry Khoma noted. -0-
