The Vitebsk regional organization of the BRSM nominated candidates for delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Congress
– The electoral campaign was held at a high level. The participation of youth in this process was indispensable, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. – Today you are nominating candidates for delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, who will be approved at the congress of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. This is an important milestone, as people trust you to represent the Vitebsk region in the constitutional body. I am sure that behind you stands a huge army of young people who will be a reliable support for the delegates and the country.
The top ten candidates for delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly include the best students, each of whom takes an active part not only in the life of their university but also in the public association.
– Being a delegate is an important mission and a great responsibility for our generation. These young people are creative and have an active position – they are ready to defend our interests, direct their energy and efforts towards the creation and development of the state, – emphasized Vladimir Babichev, First Secretary of the Regional Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
Alexander Malentinovich, Director of the F. Makovetsky Tolochin Secondary School No. 1, noted that the President pays great attention to youth policy. He is proud that he had the opportunity to be part of an important event for Belarus – the nomination of delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
Vladislav Mironchik, a postgraduate student at VSTU, is confident that young people have many opportunities and a desire to bring new useful ideas.
– This is what is called the voice of the people. We want to work, develop, implement projects and initiatives not only in our regions but also at the national level. We do not stand aside from the events taking place in Belarus, and we will worthily represent the northern region, – said Vladislav Mironchik.
