Vitebsk student won the title "Queen of Spring Belarus–2018"
In the final, which took place yesterday (April 27) in Minsk, 11 participants from different regions of the republic competed for the crown and the right to represent Belarus at the international inter-university competition of grace and artistic skill. The second-year student of the Faculty of Philology, having won the national tour, once again proved that Vitebsk girls are the most beautiful in the country.
The girl studies in the specialty "Romance and Germanic Philology", works as a sports ballroom dancing coach at the "Northern Capital" club, and is fond of horse riding and swimming. Marya admitted that the republican "Queen of Spring" is not her first beauty contest. Before that, she won the title "Miss PSU-2017" and received the crown as the most attractive and artistic student of the Vitebsk region, winning the regional tour of the inter-university competition.
– Every competition brings indescribable emotions and feelings. I prepared for the republican final in a short time, literally in three days. In addition to the creative performance, there were 4 more appearances – introduction, the intellectual competition "Brand of the Country", and two fashion shows. I think it helped me that I remained myself, I didn't try to invent an image for myself and show something that isn't there. And I am also very grateful for the support of my family, friends, and beloved university, who worried about me and sincerely wished me success, – said the new "Queen of Spring" Marya Solovyova.
The Vitebsk beauty will take part in the international final "Queen of Spring", which will be held in Minsk in the summer. Recall that the winner of last year's international competition was VSSTU student Snezhana Mikheytseva.
