The Vitebsk Customs will operate on a regional scale from January 1, 2010
December 30, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. The Vitebsk customs will operate throughout the entire Vitebsk region from January 1, 2010, due to the reorganization of the Vitebsk and Polotsk customs into a single unit of the State Customs Committee. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk customs.
Thus, the operational zone of the Vitebsk customs will include Braslavsky, Verkhnedvinsky, Gluboksky, Dokshitsky, Lepelsky, Miorsky, Polotsky, Rossonsky, Ushachsky, Sharkovshchinsky, and Postavsky districts. For business entities located in the zone of the Polotsk customs, only the account numbers for paying customs duties will change from January 1. The Vitebsk customs is the legal successor of the Polotsk customs, so funds overpaid to transit accounts controlled by the Polotsk customs can be used for further customs clearance of goods in the operational zone of the Vitebsk customs. No other changes related to the reorganization of customs will occur for enterprises and organizations when interacting with the customs service.
To study possible problematic issues arising from the reorganization, a round-the-clock hotline has been organized at the Vitebsk customs by phone: (8-0212) 35-02-30.
From January 1, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of the region should contact the Vitebsk customs on all issues related to the implementation of administrative procedures and customs regulation by the customs authorities. -0-
