Vitebsk Customs has processed over 50% of export goods electronically since the beginning of August - State Customs Committee

August 18, Minsk /BELTA/. Vitebsk customs has processed over 50% of exports since the beginning of the month, operating under the national automated system of electronic declaration (NASED), the press service of the State Customs Committee informed BELTA. In 17 days of August, the customs office issued 284 electronic certificates. The number of participants in the electronic declaration system is constantly growing. In the near future, MONOLIT RUPP, VZEP RUP, Vitebskoblgaz PRUP, VITYAZ RUPP, BELVEST SOOO, RUBIKON LLC, and others are expected to join NASED. A large share of electronic customs documents is submitted for customs clearance by the Vitebsk branch of BELTAMOZHSERVICE RUP, through which about 40 economic entities currently carry out electronic declaration. Close cooperation with Belarusian Railway also remains important. Together with Belarusian Railway, a technology for electronic clearance of goods transported by rail has been developed and approved. In addition, since July, Vitebsk customs has begun registering statistical export declarations submitted electronically. The number of participants in electronic statistical declaration is also growing. -0-
