Vitebsk Street will appear in the city of Beloyarsky in the north of Russia
A street named Vitebskaya will appear in the city of Beloyarsky in northern Russia. This was announced to journalists in Vitebsk by Natalya Sokol, Deputy Head of the Beloyarsky District of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, Russia.
"Our city Beloyarsky is the youngest of Vitebsk's partners. But in such a short period (the cooperation agreement was signed in March of this year), we have already received the first batches of your products. They are of excellent taste and are very popular. They are snapped up instantly. This summer, we are preparing to receive your student construction brigade. We pay a lot of attention to children's recreation and have purchased vouchers for health improvement at your camp. In turn, we are expecting children from Vitebsk for recreation to show them the ethnic environment of the North. In addition, in Beloyarsky there is a street built by Belarusian builders, and it will be named Vitebskaya. Your artists are already working there – a mural depicting a street in Vitebsk with a similar name will be created on the wall of one of the houses. This will be an interesting space, a true unity of two cities," Natalya Sokol said.
She noted that Beloyarsky fishermen are currently working hard to prepare a sufficient quantity of fish. It is planned that this product will appear on the shelves of Vitebsk stores. Russian partners also expect to establish mutually beneficial cooperation in the supply of non-food products. Today, festive events dedicated to the 1042nd anniversary of the city began in Vitebsk. Delegations from twin cities and partners, representatives of foreign countries and regions of Belarus arrived to congratulate the regional center on its birthday.
