Vitebskavtodor plans to master Br164 billion for the development of road management in 2010.
February 4, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Republican Unitary Enterprise "Vitebskavtodor" plans to perform works on maintenance, repair and development of the local road network in 2010 for a total amount of about Br164 billion, which is 13% more than the funding volume in 2009. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent at the enterprise.
One of the main construction projects for "Vitebskavtodor" remains the construction of a ring road around Vitebsk, the absence of which is a serious transport problem for the regional center. This year, the construction of the southwestern bypass on the Dymanovo-Starinki section will continue, and it is also planned to start work on the Starinki-Novka section. In addition, an investment justification will be prepared for the prospective project "Northwestern bypass of Vitebsk," which is the final stage of the ring road construction. The enterprise also intends to commission a 5.6 km section of the R-21 Vitebsk-Russian Federation border (Liozno) highway after reconstruction, and a kilometer-long segment of this road directly adjacent to the border, with an increase in the number of traffic lanes.
In 2010, "Vitebskavtodor" plans to complete the reconstruction of a five-kilometer section of the M3 Minsk-Vitebsk road in the Lepel district on the border with the Minsk region. These works will be the final stage of the M3 highway reconstruction project in the Vitebsk region.
Capital and current repairs are planned to be carried out on sections of republican roads with a total length of over 300 km, and over 300 linear meters of bridges will be repaired.
In 2009, "Vitebskavtodor" performed works for a total amount of about Br144 billion, including the commissioning of 22 km of roads after reconstruction, and capital and current repairs were carried out on sections with a total length of over 240 km. -0-
