Vitebsk Republican Unitary Enterprise of Electric Power Engineering "Vitebskenergo" and Russian OJSC "Foreign Economic Association "Technopromexport" ("FEA "Technopromexport") have signed a contract for the construction of the Polotsk HPP hydraulic structure. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Vladimir Diklov, Deputy General Director of "Vitebskenergo". The Russian company won the construction tender announced by "Vitebskenergo". In accordance with the contract terms, the Polotsk HPP hydraulic structure with a capacity of 22 MW will be built on the Western Dvina River by 2014.
