Vitebsk businessmen took part in "Entrepreneur of the Year 2014"

This competition has been held since 1989. It covers about 145 cities in more than 60 countries worldwide. The national stage in our country was held for the first time. Accordingly, for the first time, it was determined who would represent Belarus in the international competition "Entrepreneur of the Year" in Monte Carlo in the summer of 2015.

Accordingly, for the first time, it was determined who would represent Belarus in the international competition "Entrepreneur of the Year" in Monte Carlo in the summer of 2015.

Initially, the jury selected 120 prominent figures of domestic business, and in the process, only 11 nominees who reached the final were chosen from them. Among them are two major manufacturers from our region: General Director of LLC "Management Company of Holding "Belarusian Leather and Footwear Company "Marko" Nikolai Martynov and General Director of JV "Belwest" Yuri Sumaneev. These are leading businessmen of the country who make a significant contribution to the economy and development of the region, creating new jobs with decent wages. It is these criteria that were taken into account when determining the finalists.

It was not easy to choose the winner. As a result, the ticket to Monte Carlo went to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "EPAM Systems", the largest company providing a wide range of IT services, Arkady Dobkin, who will represent Belarus in the final.
