Traffic police crews of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate and the traffic police department of the Smolensk Region's Internal Affairs Directorate will be on joint duty, initially in the Vitebsk region, and then in the Smolensk region. The event is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the traffic police of the two countries. Effective practical cooperation between the Vitebsk region's traffic police and the Smolensk region's traffic police departments has been ongoing for over 10 years.
