Vitebsk lawyers celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Union of Lawyers with a volleyball tournament
June 18, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Vitebsk lawyers celebrated the 20th anniversary of their public association "Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers" with a volleyball tournament, BELTA was told at the economic court of the Vitebsk region.
Men's teams from the economic court, the prosecutor's office of the Vitebsk region, and the Vitebsk regional court competed for the right to be called the best volleyball players among lawyers. In a fierce competition for prize-winning places, the volleyball players-lawyers of the prosecutor's office of the Vitebsk region took 1st place, the team of the economic court of the Vitebsk region took second place, and the judges took the honorable third place. All participants of the tournament were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
The initiative for the unconventional celebration of the anniversary belongs to the Vitebsk regional branch of the Union of Lawyers. The public association "Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers" was established in June 1990. The most important statutory task of the Union of Lawyers is the promotion of legislation, the coordination of efforts aimed at promoting the process of forming a state of law in the Republic of Belarus. The unified system of the Union consists of regional and Minsk city branches, city and district branches, and primary organizations.
The Vitebsk regional association of the Union includes 44 primary organizations, which have united more than 260 experienced professional lawyers. -0-
