Vitebsk confectioners to release 25 tons of sweets for Christmas and New Year

December 21, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Vitebsk confectioners plan to produce 25 tons of sweets for Christmas and New Year, BELTA was informed at the Vitebskkhlebprom RUPP. The range of New Year's cakes and pastries will include about 40 items. Among the new products this year are cakes "Sabrina", "Starfall", "Marmeladka", "Snow Fairy Tale", "Sweet Picture" decorated with thematic wafer discs. A cake "Apricot with Cream" has been specially developed for diabetics. All New Year's products are characterized by extended shelf life (an average of 5-7 days) and attractive festive decoration: marmalade and sugary figures of tigers, Grandfathers Frost and Snow Maidens, fir trees, wafer and chocolate greeting cards. To fully provide all residents of the regional center with New Year's cakes and pastries, Vitebsk confectioners will switch to a three-shift work schedule starting December 22. In January-November, Vitebskkhlebprom RUPP enterprises produced products worth Br119.4 billion, which is 8.5% higher than the same period last year. Bakery and confectionery products worth $934 thousand were exported to Russia (growth rate of 130.7%). The profitability of sales for 10 months was 9%. The energy saving indicator is minus 14.1% with a target of minus 12%. Vitebskkhlebprom RUPP includes 12 bakeries in the region. The total number of employees is 2.7 thousand people. -0-
