Витебские огнеборцы проводят уроки безопасности в военно-патриотическом лагере им. Н.З Крыммера в Витебске

The N.Z. Krymmer military-patriotic camp, established at Secondary School No. 7 in Vitebsk, continues its work. The school principal, Olga Eroho, pays great attention to this area at the school, remaining attentive to the issues of ensuring children's safety rules.

The children's day begins with exercises and drill training, followed by safety lessons, combined arms training, legal training, various competitions, hikes, and campaigns. At this stage, the children are taught by the deputy head of the camp for educational work, Tatyana Gavrilena, and the head of the camp, Elena Golovenko, who instill patriotism, humanism, compassion, and universal human values in the children.

From the employees of the Vitebsk City Department for Emergency Situations, the children learn a lot of useful information about correct behavior during smoke, fire, and building evacuation. The children practiced evacuating the school in case of fire, both from the first floor and from the upper floors, and rescued simulated casualties.

The schoolchildren received many positive emotions from an excursion to the Vityaz Search and Rescue Squad. They were shown how rescuers descend using climbing equipment, how fires are extinguished, and what work is performed by the fire and rescue squad on combat duty.

The topic of "Water Rescue" also did not bypass the camp students. After visiting the OSVOD rescue station, the children watched with interest master classes on rescuing people on the water and listened attentively to the rules of conduct on water bodies.

The fire-technical exhibition of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also did not go unnoticed. Here, the children learned about the courage, valor, bravery, and selflessness of firefighters who have repeatedly proven themselves in action, and saw the Russian fire uniform of the 19th century. The masterfully made colorful models of horse-drawn barrel wagons, which provide a visual representation of the activities of the fire brigade of the last century, evoked special admiration. The children also visited Fire and Rescue Station No. 1 of the Vitebsk City Department for Emergency Situations, where they observed how firefighters perform their duty during their shifts.
