Vitebsk postmen recognized as the best in the country at a professional skills competition

The team of the Vitebsk branch of RUE "Belpochta" took the highest step of the podium following the results of the 20th Republican Professional Skills Competition.

On the eve of the autumn holiday, World Post Day, RUE "Belpochta" annually holds a Republican Professional Skills Competition. The goal of the annual competition is to identify the best of the best, exchange accumulated knowledge, demonstrate effective postal and management experience, improve the professional level and skills of postal workers, the prestige of their profession, and, of course, strengthen the corporate spirit in the RUE "Belpochta" team.

For three days, at the "Druzhba" recreation center in Ostroshitsky Gorodok, the best masters of their craft competed for the winning cup and laureate diplomas – heads of postal service departments who had already proven their skills in the district and regional stages of the competition.

— The competition was very high, as the contest brought together the most deserving professionals. Our team responsibly prepared for the competition, meticulously reviewed the law on postal services, service provision rules, and technologies, and prepared a homework assignment, — emphasized the head of the postal service operation and security department, Tatyana Firsova.

After the grand opening of the competition, the anthem of RUE "Belpochta" was played, and white doves became the symbol of the holiday, soaring into the sky to find their addressees. On the first day, each team had to prepare a homework assignment with a demonstration of a corporate costume and a team presentation on the topic "20th RUE "Belpochta" Professional Skills Competition." The teams also demonstrated to guests and the jury small architectural forms created by the teams as part of the Year of Culture and the 20th anniversary of the competition. On the second day of the competition, participants passed a professional test and demonstrated practical skills.

As a result, the Vitebsk branch team became the undisputed winner. The team also received diplomas: "For inexhaustible activity and initiative shown in presenting the team on the theme 'Speed, Reliability, Accessibility'," "For strong marketing and professionalism in sales,"

"For thematic and informational richness demonstrated in the presentation of the homework assignment," "For a creative approach and individuality in the presentation of the homework assignment 'Small architectural forms'."

In the individual standings, the Vitebsk team was also unrivaled. The first place among heads of city post offices was taken by the head of the Vitebsk-2 post office, Viktoria Akulova, who became the absolute champion in the number of awards and titles, impressing the jury with her professionalism and charm. The winner also received the titles "Best Expert in Postal Affairs" and "Best Master of Postal Affairs," surpassing her colleagues in the theoretical and practical parts of the competition. The best among the heads of rural post offices was Olga Volynets, head of the Vetrino post office of the Polotsk district hub of the Vitebsk branch. The nomination "For creative approach and artistry" was won by Tatyana Karaseva, head of the Novopolotsk-9 post office of the Vitebsk branch.
