Vitebsk customs officers detained a car with 60 kg of hashish

At the "Bigosovo-1" checkpoint of the Vitebsk customs, a Cadillac GMT265 with a hidden compartment containing approximately 60 kg of hashish was detained. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Committee.

A Cadillac GMT265 passenger car, driven by an Estonian citizen, arrived at the "Bigosovo-1" checkpoint on February 5. During a customs inspection by officers of the anti-smuggling and administrative customs offenses department, with the involvement of the canine service and service dogs, it was discovered that the car's undercarriage contained a hidden compartment with a narcotic substance, presumably hashish, in the amount of about 60 kg.

The substance has been seized and sent for examination. The Vitebsk customs has initiated a criminal case.
