Vitebsk manufacturers are going to Vladivostok

A delegation from Vitebsk will take part in a visit of business circles of the Republic of Belarus to Vladivostok, Russian Federation. The meeting in the easternmost city of the neighboring country was organized by the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Primorsky Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The purpose of the trip, which will take place in early September, is to expand sales markets for Belarusian products, search for new business partners, attract investments, and establish various forms of mutually beneficial cooperation.

As explained by Alexander Yakimov, a specialist in foreign economic activity at the Vitebsk CCI, this is the first joint project of the two chambers, and Vladivostok is a new and interesting region for our manufacturers.

– The scope of interaction can be diverse, but priority is given to the food, canned meat, and canned milk industries, as the Primorsky Krai is very interested in our products. Therefore, the visit is aimed at concrete results, – noted Alexander Vladimirovich.

The program includes business negotiations between representatives of enterprises from the two countries. Based on the areas of interest for manufacturers from the Vitebsk region who have expressed a desire to establish cooperation with Vladivostok, the organizers are compiling a list of potential partners. This will allow for the establishment of direct mutually beneficial contacts. Familiarization with enterprises of the Primorsky Krai is also expected to be beneficial for the Vitebsk delegation.
