Vitebsk concern "Meat-Dairy Products" is looking for a partner to create a feed meal production facility

The Vitebsk Meat and Dairy Products Concern State Association is seeking a partner to implement a project for the creation of an enterprise for the production of animal-derived feed meal enriched with sapropel. The corresponding investment proposal is posted on the association's website.

According to the organization, up to 34 thousand tons of non-food waste from the economic activities of livestock complexes, poultry farms, and meat processing plants are generated annually in the Vitebsk region at maximum slaughter capacity. This waste serves as raw material for the production of animal-derived feed (meat-and-bone) meal, as well as feed and technical animal fats. Subsequently, these products can be used for the production of compound feeds and other feed mixtures for farm animals and poultry. In addition, sapropel, with explored reserves exceeding 550 thousand tons, or 77% of the republican reserves, can be used as raw material for obtaining mineral and vitamin feed additives for such compound feeds.

The investment volume for the creation of meat-and-bone meal and sapropel products production is estimated at 8 million euros, with a payback period of less than 7 years. The establishment of such an enterprise will allow for the profitable processing of up to 40 thousand tons of waste per year and the production of about 10 thousand tons of feed meal and 20 thousand tons of sapropel products, which fully meets the demand of grain processing enterprises for this type of raw material for compound feed production. The production is planned to be equipped with high-tech and energy-efficient equipment.

It will also require the construction of its own treatment facilities, a boiler room, and an air purification unit. A separate site is planned for a complex for the extraction, preparation, processing, production, and packaging of sapropel products. The complex's productivity should be about 10 thousand cubic meters of bulk products of at least five types per year. Meat-and-bone meal is a good source of B vitamins and macroelements (calcium, phosphorus), and contains substances that stimulate growth and

regulating metabolic processes in animal organisms. Including this product in the laying hens' diet allows for increased egg production.
