Vitebsk concern "Meat-Dairy Products" has opened a permanent fair for small businesses

Vitebsk concern "Meat and Dairy Products" has organized a permanent exhibition-fair of its enterprises' products for individual entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, the head of the concern's marketing department, Zhanna Martynova, told a BELTA correspondent. In the demonstration hall, potential buyers can familiarize themselves with the types of products manufactured by eight dairy enterprises that are part of the concern. Price lists and catalogs are also presented here. The latest information can be found on the concern's official website, access to which is organized directly at the exhibition-fair. Contracts for the supply of products you like can be concluded at the exhibition. Of the four meat processing plants of the concern, Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant and Orsha Canned Meat Plant cooperate with private businesses. They have organized three wholesale stores where they sell their products with a minimal markup of only 1%. According to the concern, as of September 1, taking into account paid contracts, finished goods stocks amounted to Br80.3 billion. 9 out of 12 enterprises have reached the normal level of balances. In the total volume of sales, about 19% of meat and dairy products are sold to small businesses and individual entrepreneurs. As noted by Valentin Tsvetkov, head of the department for the development of entrepreneurship and consumer market of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, to attract private business to the sale of goods from domestic producers, a weekly small wholesale exhibition-fair has started operating in Vitebsk on Mondays. 36 enterprises of the region responded to participate in the first exhibition. -0-
