Vitebsk oil extraction plant plans to commission a boiler house at the beginning of 2010

August 26, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Vitebsk Oil Extraction Plant OJSC plans to commission its own boiler house in early 2010, the enterprise director Vladimir Ermolik told a BELTA correspondent. The project is being implemented in accordance with the enterprise's phased reconstruction program, designed until 2015. It is planned to allocate about Br4.6 billion of own funds and bank credit resources for the construction of the boiler house and its equipping with modern equipment. The enterprise needs a higher quality heat transfer medium to ensure the optimal functioning of the new extraction line, Vladimir Ermolik noted. In addition, the construction of the boiler house will allow the plant to reduce energy costs by approximately 30%. The new extraction line, commissioned in 2008, is designed to process 300 tons of seeds per day. "To fully load the created capacities, it is also necessary to modernize the existing equipment of the preparatory department, which will ultimately minimize costs and ensure optimal product cost," added Vladimir Ermolik. Today, the enterprise is replacing three oil presses in the preparatory department, which will increase the processing capacity of rapeseed oilseeds from 200 tons to 250 tons per day. All work is carried out without stopping the production process. The enterprise also plans to build a new elevator with a capacity of 90 thousand tons, which will fully meet the plant's annual raw material needs. The enterprise was founded in 1931 and is the largest producer of unrefined vegetable oil in Belarus, producing over 30% of the total volume of crude oils in Belarus. The plant produces rapeseed oil for food and technical purposes, as well as rapeseed meal. In 2007, the enterprise implemented the international quality management system ISO 9001-2001. -0-
