Vitebsk Fur Factory is registered as a resident of the Vitebsk Free Economic Zone

Vitebsk Fur Factory has been registered as a resident of the "Vitebsk" free economic zone, as reported on the official website of the FEZ administration.

In 2013, the factory became part of the "Belarussian Leather and Footwear Company "Marko" holding. Following extensive reconstruction and modernization, a new European-level enterprise has been established with the organization of modern production for processing fur and sheepskin raw materials and manufacturing finished products from them.

The implementation of a new investment project by Vitebsk Fur Factory as a resident will attract capital investments, increase the production volumes of export-oriented products, and create new jobs.

LLC "VMG WoodArt", part of the Vakaru Medienos Grupe (VMG) holding, which specializes in wood processing products, from lumber production to finished furniture manufacturing, has also become a resident. This is the first operating resident of the "Vitebsk" FEZ with Lithuanian capital.
