Vitebsk OblAgroService topped the top 10 leaders of open joint-stock companies in the region

Based on the results of the first half of the year, the Vitebsk region's top ten open joint-stock companies with the largest profits primarily include consistently performing producers. Despite facing challenges and problems, the leaders of the rating manage to overcome them.

According to data from the Ministry of Finance of Belarus, OJSC "Vitebsk Oblagroservis" achieved the largest financial result (over 64.1 billion non-denominated rubles). The organization surpassed Naftan (over 60.3 billion) and Polotsk-Steklovolokno (almost 47.7 billion) in net profit, securing the second and third positions in the rating, respectively.

Vesta ranks fourth (43.7 billion), apparently having successfully integrated the Novolukoml-based retail chain "UniversalTorg," privatized at the end of 2015, and continues to maintain its position in the local retail market.

Following are joint-stock companies: "Road Construction Trust No. 1, Vitebsk" (about 37.7 billion rubles), "Polotsktransneft Druzhba" (about 37.6 billion), "Display Design Bureau" (almost 37 billion), "Krasny Oktyabr," part of the footwear holding "Marko" (35.4 billion), Postavy Dairy Plant (over 30 billion), and "Vitebskhlebprom" (over 11.8 billion).
