The Vitebsk Regional Employers' Union plans to expand its branch network in the districts

November 4, Vitebsk / Sergei Kochetov - BELTA /. The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers plans to expand its branch network in the districts and intensify cooperation with the region's enterprises in developing foreign economic activities and promoting domestic products in foreign markets. This was stated today by the executive director of the employers' union, Albert Karalev, at the reporting and election conference of the non-profit association, according to a BELTA correspondent. Currently, the association's branches operate in 6 districts of the region. This form of work allows the executive directorate to establish effective feedback with regional producers, actively involve them in the association's activities, and promote their economic development. One of the possible ways to develop the regional network of the association is to create representative offices in districts that would unite and coordinate the work of the union members from several neighboring regions at once. The association will continue to organize training events for enterprise representatives. Over the past three years, the union has held more than 100 seminars on topical issues of legislation application and economic activity, in which about 6,000 specialists took part. In addition, such a form of work as organizing business missions of domestic producers to foreign countries to study advanced management experience and promising technologies in various fields of activity will be continued. The executive directorate of the union also intends to intensify and expand business contacts with similar associations from the border regions of Russia and the Baltic countries. The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers (VOSN) is the largest non-profit association of employers in the Dvina region, whose members include more than 250 enterprises and organizations. The association was founded in 1999. The volume of industrial production of VOSN member enterprises accounts for more than 70% of the total production volume of the region's enterprises. -0-
