The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee intends to establish video communication with the region's residents
The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee intends to use video communication with residents of the region to solve their pressing problems. This was announced to journalists today after a direct telephone line with residents of the region by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Next year, the regional executive committee will have an internet studio, thanks to which citizens will be able to connect via video link with the governor and heads of committees and departments of the regional executive committee on scheduled reception days directly from their home computers. "People will see who they are addressing, who is being given instructions to resolve their issues," explained Alexander Kosinets.
However, this does not mean that only computer owners will be able to contact the authorities. Traditional, although outdated, communication channels – telephones, letters, personal appointments – will remain.
