Vitebsk Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plant now packages baby food using sleeve technology

Jars of baby food are now sealed with shrink wrap. Fruit, vegetable, and meat purees in their new packaging can already be found in stores.

As Diana Kotovich, Head of Production, explained, a new line for finishing finished products, including a labeling machine and a steam shrink tunnel, was recently installed at the enterprise.

– Sleeve technology not only gives the label a bright and attractive appearance, making it more appealing to the consumer, but also has a number of other advantages: it protects baby food from accidental opening and counterfeiting, as well as from various environmental factors (sunlight, dust), – the specialist reported.
