Vitebsk Machine-Tool Plant "VISTAN" has been joint-stocked

This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the regional territorial fund "Vitebskoblimushchestvo". The charter capital of OJSC "VISTAN" is formed in the amount of over Br33.1 billion. For this amount, 1,507,880 ordinary shares will be issued with a nominal value of Br22 thousand each. All shares will remain state-owned. Until the first shareholders' meeting, the Ministry of Industry is authorized to make decisions within the competence of the general meeting and the supervisory board of the company. VISTAN was founded in 1914 and is one of the oldest machine-tool enterprises in the republic. The plant's product range includes over 850 basic models and modifications of cylindrical grinding machines, center and centerless grinding machines, gear-cutting machines, CNC machining centers, lathes, special-purpose machines, and woodworking machines. The quality management system for the production of machine-tool products is certified in accordance with the ISO 9001-2001 standard. More than 800 people work at the plant. -0-
