Vitebsk construction worker in intensive care after brick falls on him

A construction worker in Vitebsk was admitted to intensive care due to a brick that accidentally fell from the seventh floor, Vladimir Baydanov, an investigator-criminalist of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, told a BELTA correspondent. The incident occurred on Molodezhnaya Street. During the cleaning of construction debris on the 7th floor, a special cradle into which it was being collected swayed, and a piece of silicate brick accidentally fell out of it. At that time, another worker from the construction trust was passing below. The brick hit the head of the man, who was at the construction site in violation of safety regulations without a hard hat. The 49-year-old construction worker with a head injury was taken to the intensive care unit of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital. An investigation is underway regarding this fact.-0-
