Vitebsk's "Zabor" in Paris"
Reproductions of works by Vitebsk artist Alexander Dosuzhev are presented in Paris as part of the art project "Zabor". In addition to our compatriot, who unfortunately passed away this year, six authors from our country are participating in it: Sergey Koval, Viktor Alshevsky, Vladislav Stalmakov, Vitaly Denisenko, Ruslan Vashkevich, and Sergey Grinevich. Their works could be seen at the project presentation in Vitebsk; they were exhibited on the fence of the botanical garden.
Now Parisians are getting acquainted with the works of these artists while strolling along the quiet Henri Martin street. It is here, on the fence of the town hall of the 16th arrondissement, that the exhibition opened. Its organizers were the investment company "Zubr Capital", the Embassy of Belarus in France, and the owners of the Parisian fence.
At one time, Belarus natives who became world-famous, such as Marc Chagall, Chaim Soutine, and Leon Bakst, conquered Paris, and a century later, a new generation represents our country in the recognized capital of arts.
