Vitebsk Electrical Measuring Instruments Plant has mastered the production of training kits for physics lessons

August 6, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. Vitebsk Plant of Electrical Measuring Instruments (OAO VZEP) has mastered the production of educational demonstration kits for conducting physics lessons in educational institutions, the enterprise's director Anatoly Lyadvin told a BELTA correspondent. The plant's specialists have developed four types of kits and equipment for equipping physics classrooms in secondary schools and other educational institutions. The kits consist of modules with electrical components connected in an electrical circuit by wires, in various configurations. They allow for demonstration experiments with electric current, thereby increasing the clarity and effectiveness of practical classes on the laws of direct current, electric current in semiconductors, alternating current, and electric current in a vacuum. The modules are equipped with magnets for mounting on a steel board or other surface. The plant's range of educational equipment includes, among other things, three types of devices. This is an audio generator, which is a source of electrical signals of audio frequencies. It can be used independently for laboratory and demonstration work, as well as as part of educational demonstration kits. Vitebsk instrument makers have also developed two types of power supplies (a laboratory one in two modifications and a demonstration one). These devices are intended for equipping educational laboratories, including for powering electrical circuits during physics laboratory work. The educational equipment is included in the enterprise's production program on the initiative of the chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Kosinets and is import-substituting products. In the future, Vitebsk instrument makers intend to complete the development and launch into serial production of another 16 types of products for equipping physics laboratories of educational institutions. Currently, the enterprise is studying the demand for new products and forming a portfolio of orders, Anatoly Lyadvin added. Vitebsk Plant of Electrical Measuring Instruments was founded in 1948 and was transformed into an open joint-stock company in 2010. The enterprise specializes in the production of electrical measuring instruments for measuring current, voltage, frequency, power, temperature, and pressure. The products are manufactured for ground-based measuring devices, onboard systems of vehicles, including aviation. The quality management system for the design, production, and maintenance of instrument products complies with the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2001.
